Our Staff

Senior Pastor

Dr. George Covey is a capable preacher who is gifted in presenting the truths and principles of the Word of God. He has both an earned and an honorary doctorate. He has pastored and established churches in Maine, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Saskatchewan and Ontario

Kaye Covey has her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing as well as a Master's degree in Religious Education. The Coveys have four children.

Assistant Pastor

Steven Michel is a talented young pastor who currently leads our services, directs the choir and conducts the Youth Ministry.

Deacons

David Covey supervises the Sunday School program, is Building Team leader and is also actively involved with the Youth Ministry. David is a practicing chiropractor in the Ottawa-Orleans area. He is married to Faith and they have three children, Hope, Grace and Nathan.

Don Wilson brings years of experience to our church ministries. He and his wife, Violet, are very active senior citizens.

Director of Nursery

Deborah Michel, wife of assistant pastor Steven Michel, serves as our nursery director. They have two daughters, Abigail and Alayna.

Director of Music

Faith Covey directs and manages the Music Ministry of Carleton Baptist. She has a Master's degree in Sacred Music and is a sought-out music teacher in our community.
